Mesquite Canyon 30K

This past weekend Josh and I went down to Phoenix to run the Mesquite Canyon 50 mile and 30k respectively.  Although the course was more technical than I was hoping for, it was a beautiful day in the desert.  Here are a couple pictures from the weekend.  I was 10th female (a time I'm happy with considering I'm not that great with the technical courses) and Josh won the 50 mile.  He set the course record with a time of 7:25:47.

Here are a couple other pictures that I took while I was wandering around Scottsdale.  While Josh went out for a run, I went to the Scottsdale Art Festival.

Welcome!

Welcome to my blog!  It's a place where all the things I love come together.  You can read about what's going on in my classroom, my gardening, what I've been cooking lately (with and without the help of Blue Apron), the trials and tribulations of living in a historic house, and most importantly what Macintosh, Lucy, and Bosco are up to!

I'll give you a hint- it's mostly sleeping!
